Our class has had so much fun this week working on our Non-Fiction Mini-Books! Each student selected an animal to research and learn more about. We have used all types of resources such as non-fiction books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, the Internet, and our prior knowledge to research our animal. The students created a "Research Folder" to keep all of their research and writing pieces together. Our Mini-Books include a title, author, front / back cover, table of contents, and three chapters all about our animal. We are finishing up the final copies of our chapters and then our Mini-Books will be on display in our hallway!
